Meet the team

Tyler Long is a great leader, business driver, and good family guy. Tyler is the 4th generation to enter the flooring business and got his start by doing summer warehouse work in his middle school years. He enjoyed working for his father so much, he decided to make a career out of it immediately after college and hasn’t once regretted the decision. As the husband of a beautiful Swiss bride and father of three, Tyler spends much of his free time watching his daughters compete in rodeo and his son compete in baseball. Tyler is an active church member, enjoys studying theology and church history, and also started a non-profit baseball academy that provides training and playing opportunities to local youth athletes. As CEO and owner of PG Long, Tyler operates on the fundamental value of treating others how you want to be treated; employees, clients, vendors and strangers.

Brent is results-driven person with a strong commitment to community and service. After experiencing PG Long firsthand as a customer, he joined the company in 2005 and brings a customer-centric perspective to everything he does.
He is actively involved in the industry and community, serving on the Multifamily NW executive board and Multifamily Solutions (Floor Expo) advisory board. His commitment to community impact includes long standing support of Habitat for Humanity and the Heartland Humane Society.
Brent enjoys fishing, golfing, and is an avid collector of vintage snowmobiles, motorcycles, and classic muscle cars.

Randy is an outstanding leader and leads by influence. He has led teams for over 30+ years in different industries, primarily in the technical industry and online digital space. During that span, he managed successful teams that performed at a high level in operations, project management, program management, advertising, and sales/marketing. Known for having a strategic mindset and engaged leadership style, Randy excels at driving organizational growth and operational efficiency. Randy is highly skilled in developing and executing strategies, managing cross-functional teams, and steering complex projects from concept to completion. His ability to foster high performance teams and align business objectives with market opportunities has consistently led to increased productivity and overall success. Originally from Honolulu, Hawaii, Randy now lives in Oregon. He enjoys BBQs, watching sporting events, exercising, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

As the new Director of Finance at PG Long, Bob brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in finance, accounting, and IT. A graduate of Portland State University with degrees in Accounting and Computer Information Science, he combines financial specialties, operational insight, and strategic problem solving to support business growth across PG Long’s different departments. Throughout his career, he has led positive business changes, improved operational efficiency, and helped develop future leaders. Guided by integrity, accountability, and resilience, Bob is also deeply committed to giving back to the community through his service on the board of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Portland, OR

Jens is a proud Idaho native who has called the Boise area home for over 20+ years, ever since attending Boise State University. He began his career in flooring as an installer in Eastern Idaho and has since built a wealth of experience across the flooring and construction industries, with a strong background in both installation and sales. For almost a decade, Jens has been a valued member of the PG Long team. His work is guided by traditional values, which shine through in his authentic relationships, unwavering work ethic, and commitment to excellence. When not at work, Jens enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends, especially his grandson! You’ll often find him embracing the Idaho outdoors, whether he’s riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, rock climbing, or kayaking the state’s scenic rivers.

Conor is the branch manager of our Portland branch office. Conor is excited to bring his retail and customer service experience to the team! Having worked in various sales and retail positions most of his life, he is ready to apply his customer first approach to any of his client’s needs. When Conor is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, trying new restaurants, and watching sports!

Jon has been a growth leader with PG Long for many years. Jon puts his customer’s experience first. He enjoys making their time with PG Long pleasant and positive. Since his start with PG Long Floor Covering in March of 2008, he has completed the Mohawk University Product Knowledge Higher Achiever Program, obtained his lead base paint renovator certification and is also a certified Asbestos Inspector. When Jon is not in the office, he enjoys watching football, playing golf, pinball, rebuilding classic cars, and participating as a competitive BBQ pit master. Fun fact that few people know about Jon's golf game is that he has shot a hole in one.... twice!

Josh has called Bend home since 1990. Known for his genuine, customer-first approach, Josh takes pride in making every client feel valued, treating them with the same care and respect he would offer a family member. He began his career at Les Schwab in 2000 before joining the PG Long team in 2016. His leadership and commitment to excellence quickly stood out. He also began serving on the Multifamily Northwest Council in 2018 and was promoted to Branch Manager in 2019. Outside of work, Josh enjoys saltwater fishing along the Pacific coast, from Oregon to San Diego, as well as camping and spending quality time with family and friends. He and his wife Christie, married since 2004, have two daughters who keep life fun and full.

John is originally from Middleton, Idaho, where he started working in the construction industry at a very young age. His construction experience took him to most places in the western United States. In addition to his construction background, John also worked in the software and technology industry as a sales and customer service associate. John is outgoing and enjoys attending sporting events and watching movies. He also likes boating, swimming, camping, hiking, and traveling. His biggest love is being a Dad to his 6 children and helping them develop their own passions.

With a career in the construction industry that began in 2008, Chad brings over 15 years of leadership and operational experience to his role as Branch Manager at our Spokane, WA, location. Known for his positive energy, can-do attitude, and commitment to excellence, he has successfully led teams across Eastern Washington, consistently driving performance and building strong customer relationships. Chad has a proven track record of managing high-performing offices, fostering collaborative team environments, and delivering results in a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry. His leadership style is rooted in integrity, communication, and a passion for helping others succeed. Outside of work, Chad is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Whether he's hiking, camping, or simply spending quality time with his family, he believes in maintaining a healthy work-life balance. A lifelong sports fan, he especially loves basketball and rarely misses a game.

Christian oversees our preconstruction administration and commercial estimating for all things floor covering. With 7 years of experience in the multifamily industry, he brings a good set of skills to our team: passion, professionalism, problem solving, and communication. When not working up an estimate, Christian enjoys skiing, golfing, or tinkering with his motorcycles. Fun fact that few people know about Christian is that he is a triplet.
